Second duty (Christianity)

Beyond the mind, behind all appearance is an essence with which the heart struggles to merge but the body and the mind stand in the way. Shatter the body to merge with the invisible, silence the mind to hear the invisible calling. Create for earth a brain and a heart, give a human meaning to the superhuman struggle. This suffering is the second duty.
