Purity of Heart

Kierkegaard says "Purity of heart is to will one thing, and that is the good". Christ said that the pure in heart are blessed because they will see God. In this state there is deliverance from images and concepts, from the forms and shadows of things desired with the appetites. One is delivered from feeble and delusive analogies normally used to arrive at God in the grip of a deep and penetrating experience.
