Potential directiveness

This defines the manner in which a particular individual is likely to behave under certain conditions; in other words, under an impulse which says "hunger", "thirst", and so on, and in a particular state of alertness, what a particular individual would do. The mental state of a person may thus be defined in terms of the goal-directed behaviour such a state would lead to under specific conditions.
