Physical relativity in conscious states (Physical sciences)
Description
Physical relativity theory situates any reality, matter or energy or a composite of both, in its own particular space-time, from which it acquires particular space-time dependent dualities. States of consciousness or awareness are also conditioned, in this case by such societal analogues to space-time as [zeitgeist]
, class orientation, educational formation and family behaviour - in short, the environment of personal development.
Among other inferences that can be drawn from physical and psychological relativity is that truth and objectivity are unattainable within a single framework. Therefore diverse states of consciousness may complement one another in giving information about reality.
Context
There are at least five universal principles postulated in the physical sciences: duality; quantum discreteness; relativity; conservation; and least action. Their application to states of consciousness has been presented by Professor Charles Tart and others.
