Megavitamin therapy

Massive doses of specific vitamins and minerals and, in some cases, a high protein, low carbohydrate diet, are used in the treatment of schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, alcoholism and drug addiction; and of hyperactivity, autism and other problems in children. Such therapy reduces or replaces other treatments and the need for hospitalization.
