Limbo

This is a state of transition or intermediate state after death. According to Roman Catholicism it is the abode of unbaptized souls; in psychic terms it is one of seven planes of density or the level of the virtuous who died before the birth of Christ. According to some definitions it is an area of hell experienced as banishment from God.
