Jen (Confucianism)

This mode is basic to Confucian ethics, the characteristic of the ideal man, and corresponding to unblemished human nature when the individual is in total sympathy with others and complies with natural morality. It is the equivalent to the Christian "loving one's neighbour as one's self", and includes the respect and deference shown to one's elders and superiors by being rooted in piety and obedience.
