Field consciousness

A part of the traditional wisdom of India and of Greece, this refers to the whole consciousness experienced either by mankind or by the individual. Although the problems of mankind may be looked on as disturbances in the total field, they are said to be soluble only by the individual taking personal responsibility for self-transformation and thus starting to purify the whole consciousness.
