Comoción (Spanish)

There is a feeling of emotional resonance with a large group of people, whether a whole nation (united in grief at the death of a beloved personage, for instance) or a physical crowd such as at a football match or a political rally. The feeling is thrilling but dangerous, as it can be incited by an orator or rabble-rouser to bring together an otherwise diverse group and encourage them to behave in a way which the individual members might normally find repugnant.
