Action learning

This is a management system pioneered and developed by R. Revans, which stresses the need to learn from everyday tasks and from each other. In particular, it encourages the use of non-experts (sometimes reversing roles, for example temporarily putting a bank manager in charge of a soap factory and vice versa) so that a new, unbiased approach may be brought to bear, and to force communication and interdependence at all levels.
